Salem, New Hampshire • With Kyle Cavanaugh

Your next chapter.
A place with a plan.

A Salem move is about the home you choose—and understanding the place around it.

I’m Kyle Cavanaugh, a New Hampshire native, REALTOR® and investor. Tell me what you want your move to change. We can look at your options with both curiosity and a practical plan.

Read beyond the headline

What is happening around the home?

When a purchase involves a changing area, I want the conversation to go beyond an attractive rendering or a familiar development name. What is approved, what is proposed, what is complete, and what needs more investigation? Those are different questions.

Start with the townwide view.

Salem’s townwide master plan was adopted April 23, 2025. The town describes it as a long-range vision connecting housing, transportation, the economy and municipal decisions. It is a useful starting point for context, not a promise about an individual property.

Investigate the specific project.

The town’s Tuscan Village directory collects approved plans and studies under topics including traffic, parking, drainage and other impacts. Use the source materials to frame your questions and confirm the current status with the appropriate office.

Separate context from certainty.

A master plan, an approved drawing, and a finished feature do not establish the same thing. If a future amenity, access arrangement or proposed change is central to your decision, identify what is actually documented.

Kyle’s field notes

Keep the reason for your move in view.

I’ve built and sold new-construction homes, flipped properties, and own multifamily and rental properties. That experience makes me interested in the decisions behind the finished photos. For your move, I want the details to connect back to your goals.

Your everyday matters

Bring your own priorities to Salem.

What belongs in your ordinary week? Work, errands, recreation, visitors, quiet time, or a different amount of space? Try the routes and surroundings at the times you would use them. A useful visit should tell you something about your life, not just the floor plan.

Understand the setup.

For a property with shared features or responsibilities, ask what you own, what you maintain, and what documents explain the arrangement.

Look at the actual property.

Condition, ongoing obligations, included features and documented use deserve their own investigation. A neighborhood or development name does not answer those questions.

Build your plan with me.

Your purchase strategy should fit your situation. I can introduce the questions publicly; the detailed work belongs in our conversation.
